Reid Tomlin

Director of Municipal Research 

Reid Tomlin is responsible for overseeing tax exempt and taxable municipal bond credit research process for Wasmer, Schroeder & Company, Inc.  With over 21 years of experience as a municipal credit analyst, Mr. Tomlin relocated from New York to join the Firm in April 2009.  Reid's career began as an analyst and underwriter in the Public Finance and International Infrastructure Divisions with MBIA Insurance where he spent 13 years.  In 2002, he joined Standard & Poor's holding the position of Director in the Public Finance Division of the Municipal Enterprise Group.  Most recently, he held the position of First Vice President at Ambac Assurance Corp's Public Finance Division, Western Region. 

Mr. Tomlin is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego and holds a MS in Financial Management from New York University.  He is a member of the Municipal Analysts Group of New York and the National Federation of Municipal Analysts.
